Abstract

The case of COVID-19 in Kudus Regency, Central Java, is crazy. The drastic spike in cases is said to be due to residents who are desperate to hold two ritual traditions during Lebaran 2021 that gather masses, namely religious pilgrimage tours to tombs and the Kupatan tradition, which is usually held seven days after Lebaran. These two ritual traditions trigger crowds and increase transmission in the community. To solve this, the Regional Government strengthened Joko Tonggo's policy, namely a form of social entrepreneurship based on local wisdom. The understanding of social entrepreneurship continues to grow and is increasingly diverse. There are a number of different views of various entrepreneurship researchers in understanding the concept. In addition, multiple studies also show differences in the development of the concept of social entrepreneurship by looking at things that affect entrepreneurship and the impact of social entrepreneurship. The purpose of this study is to build a model of social entrepreneurship in terms of influencing factors, targets, who is involved, the impact of implementation, and how to become a sustainable organization. The research method is descriptive qualitative with a narrative review approach using CmapTools 6.04. The results of the study show that the concept of social entrepreneurship focuses on how to solve social problems for value creation that can improve people's quality of life. This includes translating the problem of increasing COVID-19 cases in Kudus Regency, Central Java, social entrepreneurship based on local wisdom. This study also finds differences in perceptions, impacts, and factors that influence social entrepreneurship. In addition, the findings of this study show that social entrepreneurship can create value and organizational sustainability, which depends on the preparation of appropriate organizational funding sources and more professional organizational governance.
